Lazyweb making DVDs from DirecTiVo content

Do I even have a lazyweb? Probably not, but y'never know... maybe someone knows!

I have a DirecTiVo running 6.2. I've hacked it and so can run vserver or tserver or whatever is needed. Now, using TyTools I can retrieve programmes from the TiVo and convert them to mpeg2 format. That's pretty good. The Windows GUI can even make a basic DVD out of it. Not bad! Except... the mpeg isn't DVD compliant. Although PowerDVD played the resulting DVD fine, my real DVD player thought the audio was "0CH" and so didn't play it. I'm also concerned that the resolution (480x480 non-square pixels) which isn't a DVD standard resolution. Also the simple editor that comes with TyTools isn't frame accurate.

So... what's the best way people have of converting DirecTiVo content to DVD standard?
