Survived!
Last week my friend (and now my boss) from the UK was over. We went out drinking on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... Fortunately he flew home Thursday night. Of course a night of drinking meant I was ravenous the next day and so I was over-eating as well. On Saturday I headed over to see Steve and Julie; Julie had cooked a nice leg of lamb, and I had beer and then some popcorn while watching X-Files. Oops!
But I appear to have survived! I weighed myself this morning and the scales read the same as last Monday. So a week of very bad eating doesn't appear to have killed my diet.
How I just have to survive this week's "SciFi Friday" pizza (once a month I invite people over and watch some of my DVDs, eat pizza, drink beer; this month it's Close Encounters) :-)
