The past 18 months have seen me put on over 20lbs in weight. Traditional calorie counting no longer seems to work for me; maybe my body has adjusted, or maybe I'm just too weak willed.

Anyway, Tori suggested I start doing Atkins, since she's had so much success at it, and will help (enforce ;-)) my diet.

I know Atkins says "caffeine bad", but it doesn't look like it's a good reason; he claimed it reduces blood sugar levels, which it may do... but apart from making me hungrier, I don't think that's a problem.

Ugh, those Atkins fake chocolate bars taste awful. No wonder Tori finds real chocolate too sweet now! I think I'll stick with cans of fish and stuff for my snacks :-)
