Incompetent mailing list managers

What the fuck is it with people who create methods of letting you sign up to web sites and send you a registration link and then send it with a BROKEN FROM ADDRESS? For fucks sake, if you're going to run a web site or a mailing list then at least get it right! Use valid from addresses, use servers with valid HELO responses, use servers with working DNS. This isn't rocket science!

And then you get shit like The Register that not only send with an invalid address, but even after you whitelist to ignore all their defects them there's no way of resending the link.

Fucking incompetents...
