More walking

So after one successful day of walking the heavens opened and it's been raining almost non stop. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning were.... wet. Was beginning to get cabin fever!

Around lunchtime the sun came out and turned the world into mega-humidity. Since I needed stuff from the supermarket, I figured it was good for a walk. Normally this supermarket is about 1.1 miles away, but a variation of Monday's walk would take me close and I could extend the 2.2m trip to just over 3 miles. Again used my phone to record the track.

So 3.5 miles walked, moving time 48:25. This time my average walking speed was faster; 4.4mph.

Unfortunately this has indicated a problem; the sun. After my skin cancer problem last year I'm not a fan of the sun. 48 minutes wearing short-sleeved T-shirt in today's sun probably didn't hurt but I'm not sure I'll be able to do these walks as the summer draws closer. I could wear long sleeved shirt but then I'm likely to sweat like hell (I was sweating today, as it was). Maybe I'll just have to grin and bear it. *sigh*
