Limbaugh and consent

Now obviously, duh!
When I came out to the BDSM community 17 years ago the _first_ lesson I learned was "consent".
But that's not where I want to go. Let's look slightly earlier in his rant:

What Limbaugh _meant_ to say is "if everyone consents then any perversion under the sun as acceptable". He wanted to make a statement about perversion and lack of standards. And that's a valid statement for a hard right arsehole.
Unfortunately he lost track of his own argument and focused on 'consent' and ended up saying "if you don't have consensual sex then you can be accused of rape". Which is a "duh, yeah!" moment.
It's funny to watch an idiot trip over his own tongue. But since he didn't say what me meant to say it doesn't mean anything beyond a
"If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it's perfectly fine, whatever it is. But if the left ever senses and smells that there's no consent in part of the equation then here come the rape police. But consent is the magic key to the left."
