Poxy proxies

sweh(I know I said I wouldn't update this much, but this is annoying me sufficiently...)
Y'know, I hate proxy servers that forcably drop connections that have been open for more than 10 minutes because that makes my cheat method for tunnelling out very very damned painful. ssh sessions hang after 10 minutes, AIM either hangs or disconnects as well. So I can't talk to Tori easily and I can't read news easily.
Dammit, do they want me to work or something?
I need a self-regenerating link. I guess I could do pppd or something, but I really don't want to route from inside work to my home. That's opening too many cans of worms.
