Because of last time, I decided to try exercising at a higher resistance level, hoping to keep my heart rate up, at a lower speed. However, that didn't work out too well because I found it really hard work to push against that resistance at a low speed and was easily going over 8mph. At the 4 mile mark I reduced the resistance back to normal, but had to stop at 5 miles.
