As part of my green card process I need to have an exam by a "civil surgeon". Basically a blood test, a TB test and then possibly lots of vaccinations.

Only the TB test has me worried. In England it was routine for schoolkids around age 12 to have a BCG vaccination against TB. This can potentially interfere with the standard TB skin test, causing a false positive.

Examining at my arm I can feel a small lump where the test was performed. It could be 10mm across, which counts as a positive. That'll then mean X-rays and God knows what else. Could this interfere with my Green Card application? I dunno... I'm afraid it might!
