Feb. 13th, 2005 06:05 pmI thought I might have been asking for trouble after the efforts of last night, but then I thought "ah, what the hell..."
Minor twinge at 2 minutes, but then really nothing until the 9 minute mark... and then I kept pushing and made 15 minutes... at 17 minutes it was beginning to get hard work and I almost lost the rhythm but kept going...
20 minutes, 2.9 miles (so avg 8.7mph), 201 Kcals.
I thought I was averaging more than that because every time I glanced at the display it seemed to read 8.8 or higher, but it's possible the change in stance needed to get a view of the display was enough to temporarily change my speed. But, anyway, I'm happy to have gone almost 3 miles. And I'm not that tired... sweaty, but no more tired than when I first started. Whee!!
