Legs started off shakey and I had to force myself to keep going after 2 minutes. Around the 7 minute mark I guess things got easier. Started to have to push at the 13 minute mark. At 17 minutes legs started to feel shakey, but I pushed on to 20 minutes. Sweating massively; kept dripping into my eyes!

20 minutes, 3 miles, 204 Kcals

Hmm, machine has started making squeeking type noises. I wonder if the rail needs regreasing already!

Wobbly legs now!

One of my PCs had started to freeze up when I was using one specifc program. Initially I thought this might have been due to Daemon-Tools, which I had just upgraded, along with SP2 (I had copied ISO images of the original disks so that I don't need to keep inserting the disk whenever I want to use the program).

Google google search search... someone with similar issues with this program in the past had mentioned overheating and a bad fan on their
system. Well, that can't have been my issue since the machine would be up stable for months at a time.

But anyway... take case off. Damn! CPU fan is dead. Crap! I guess the PSU fan had been sufficient to keep the machine cool. In order to get the fan off I needed to remove the whole heatsink because of how it's all clipped around the edges, and pulling on the heatsink caused the CPU (p4-2.66) to come out with it. And now the heatsink and CPU have parted company; I guess the thermal compound wasn't that sticky! So now I need a new CPU fan and thermal gel.

I hope the CPU is still working after all this! Just what I don't want to waste money on, since I'm meant to be saving up for a house.
