Power appears to have returned to my apartment at 1815 last night... but it took until 2pm today for my DSL to recover; the firewal logs show the software doing repeated attempts and failing to authenticate. But, whee! I'm back :-)
Hmm, the backup server (and also serves the mp3 filesystem and RedHat updates) appears not to have recovered. Maybe the BIOS on that machine doesn't power up after a power loss. No biggie; I just won't have backups for a couple of days!
