American Politics
Jan. 4th, 2004 03:04 pmI'm not allowed to vote, so I typically don't pay much attention to American politics; hell, I don't even know which party is the GOP, which party is equivalent to the Labor ("left, socialist") or Conservative ("right, capitalist") parties back in England.
However, I had been hearing some good stuff about Howard Dean, in particular his support of minority issues (eg gay rights). I was almost impressed enough to see about donating money to his cause, since I can't vote for him.

"Jesus is a Democrat, claims Dean as he woos Bush faithful"
I guess he's really no better than the rest, after all. My money will stay firmly in it's pocket... or maybe I'll spend it on a new computer instead. Dean ain't gonna see one cent of it!
