Decisions decisions
Mar. 21st, 2005 09:53 amI just got my tax rebate into my account on Friday. Whee, that's $2225 more than I expected to have. But now...
There are around $200 worth of DVDs I want to buy, some fitness stuff (heart rate meter, blood pressure monitor) and maybe a few other things. Probably less than $500 in total. BUT: I'm in the middle of buying a house. I'm feeling that I should save all my pennies until I have the house, paid all closing fees, redecorated and so on.
Sure, $400 or $500 probably won't make any difference (if money was that tight then I'd just put it on plastic and incure fees for when I don't pay it all off that month) but it's a principle; a few hundred here, a few hundred there and it adds up to thousands.
If I don't buy it, then I'll feel I'm depriving myself. If I do buy it then I'll feel like I'm spending money I shouldn't. Aaghhh!
I wish it was May 29th and I'd know exactly where I stood!
