I tried to push myself a bit today and tried to keep the speed above 8mph for as long as possible, until the HRM started beeping at me. I also wanted to extend the duration, but the ST:DS9 episode finished and it was the last on the disk and the HRM was starting to beep more frequently, so I stopped as soon as the distance ticked over.
So: 6.7 miles, 49:49 mins (av 8.1mph), 145bpm, 46:21 in zone, 811Kcals
OK, I _was_ pushing it, and I dunno if I could do that every day, but I'm happy. I'm spending more time "in zone" , exercising for longer, and going faster then 1 month ago. It's hard to tell with such a small dataset, but I think I'm improving!
Legs feel a little sore and I'm sweaty, but I'm definitely not out of breath!
