I guess...
Dec. 11th, 2005 09:50 pmIt's fair to say that when I'm carrying a heavy 21" monitor at 1:30am in the morning down to a car (helping someone else move house because they've left the packing of the computer room until the last minute!), and the person with the keys is futzing around "Oh, I don't know what key is for this car! Oh, I've been given the wrong set of keys!" that I'm not in the best of moods. I put the monitor down, took the keys off her and made a guess as to the right key (first time correct; the keys for both cars were on the ring) opened the car, tossed the keys back (she failed to catch them) then got the monitor. Fast, efficient... and giving an attitude that would scare off a bear.
And minutes later I felt bad about it... annoyed, angry, pissed off (I was already annoyed that we needed to do this shit so late; the owner of the computers decided to skip a Christmas party, so he could pack... and then went to sleep instead, so no packing got done)... and feeling bad.
So after lugging more monitors and computers, I was going to apologise to her, but never had more than 2 seconds alone. So after I got home I tried to text her... but her phone was off. So I never got to apologise.
The next day it's too late. It's history.
*sigh*
