I knew I hated gardens for a reason.
So I just spent $500+ on garden furniture (table, 4 chairs), a lawn mower and a strimmer (err, weed wacker or whatever Americans call them). I tested out the lawn mower and strimmer on my back garden. Took a while to work out a good height, so one part is probably cut too low.
Winter has not been kind to it! Squirrels have dug lots of holes in the lawn; in parts it's more mud than grass. In other parts there's 1000 wannabe trees growing out of it. It's also not very flat. Feh! Maybe I'll have to pay someone to fix it. That'll cost a lot as well. And that's without looking at the front garden.
*grumble* *grumble*
On the plus side, the new lawn mower seems to start perfectly well; prime it 3 times and it starts first yank on the cord. Hopefully it'll continue doing that.
