swehI took a sick day today, and hoped to catch up on sleep... and was woken up at 7am by loud noises outside the window. Whuh?
Road construction trucks.
They decided today to resurface my (and surrounding) streets. The vehicles were so noisy that my house was shaking; I could hear the glasses in my dining room cabinet vibrating on the shelf. This continued until around 4pm. Bluh. So much for a lie in!
