Barcode geeking update

swehOf my 1122 books, I have 1067 barcodes that are EANs beginning 978. A simply automated download for these EANs (converting EAN to ISBN since Amazon seems to have problems with EANs) found 1064 of those books in com or co.uk servers. That's a 99.7% success rate. Not bad!
Oddly the 3 books that it couldn't find aren't that old; A E van Vogt "The Pawns Of Null-A" (Sphere SF, 1985), Greg Egan "Permutation City" (Millennium, 1995), Greg Egan "Axiomatic" (Millennium, 1996).
The data quality isn't the best, though.
Around 380 of those books don't have images.
Interestingly I see differences in information between com and co.uk services. eg ISBN 0330301624 is listed in the US as being published by Tor, but in the UK as Pan. Pan is the correct answer but I only searched the UK site if I didn't find the US data, so I can't trust the results too much. Hmmph :-(
